i delivered via csection 3 weeks ago (proud to say i only have 10 more pounds to lose!) & was wondering how long your bleeding lasted & how do the staples feel when they get taken out LOL.. kind of nervous!!

 

I think my bleeding lasted for about 7 weeks but not very heavy and I had my stitches out a my 1 week checkup and they only pinched a little. It did not hurt. Good luck and way to go on all the weight loss.

 

My staples were taken out before I left the hospital and it didn't hurt at all -just a little pinch feeling for a few of them. I can't remember on the bleeding... but four or five weeks probably.

 

My staples were taken out before I left the hospital (3 days after c-section) but I had steri-strips over the incision that I had to wear for a week.
I was SUPER worried getting the staples out would hurt, but it didnt AT ALL - i braced myself on the hospital bed (all dramatic) & she was like "there, 2 are out already...." I didnt even feel it!
I bled for 5 weeks I think, then got my period 3 weeks after that (not breastfeeding...)

my bleeding lasted about 6 wks and then I got my period - knew it was different b/c it was bright red....staples didn't hurt coming out....actually felt better when they were out....good luck

 

The staples were taken out before I left the hospital and didn't hurt coming out. Just a little pinch. My bleeding went on for 8 weeks. Then it stopped and a week later I got my period. UG! But I only pumped for a month so if you are pumping/BFing your experience will probably be different.

 

WOW i delivered 25 days ago & still have mine in.. that doesn't seem right.. i was told i have to wait until my 6 week postpartum checkup.. :angry:

 

You still have staples? Mine were out the 2nd or 3rd day in the hospital, like the others said. Weird! I had the steri-strips too. It didn't hurt at all(I was nervous too!) My bleeding lasted from 4-6 weeks after my kids. Way to go on the weight loss! :banana:
