Post Partum question

How long did you bleed after a vaginal delivery? My girls were born 17 days ago. My doctor said I would have a heavier bleed around two weeks post partum, but I've only needed a panty liner for the past week or so. I'm wondering if I'm getting to the end, or if I will possibly need the panty liners for several more weeks. Just curious what your experiences were...

I needed a liner for over a month before starting an actual cycle.

 

I bled from 4-6 weeks with all of my deliveries. It gradually got lighter and I don't remember having a heavier time around 2 weeks pp. Sounds like it may be coming to an end.

 

I know I was pretty much done (no pantyliner needed) by my 6 week pp checkup.

 

I bled for what seemed like exactly 4 weeks.

 

I just quit bleeding a few days ago...so right around 4 weeks. I'm still using a panty liner just in case though!

 

I bled for 4 weeks and then got my first period 4 weeks after that.

I bled heavy and then it got light and then heavy again and then it stopped. Now that I think about it, it was about 2 weeks PP

 

I hit the four week mark today and my bleeding has almost stopped. Last week at this time I still had to wear a heavier pad....now I just wear a pantyliner.

 

about 6 weeks. it would come and go though.

 

10 torturous weeks for me. It got lighter sometimes, then got heavy again.

 

it's been 8 weeks and I'm still bleeding....ugh!

 

4 or 5 weeks for me. It would vary from day to day as to how light or heavy then just stopped.

 

About 5 weeks. I was afraid it was going to continue until my 6 week check-up. I got an IUD on Monday, so now I have some spotting from that! Never thought I'd ever buy this many pads...

 

With Dax it was 2 weeks. With the girls it was 6.
