With my first baby, I didn't really feel all that much movement until the last weeks. With the twins, I've been told I should feel lots more.

At almost 22 weeks, I can feel the twins -- a little.

Except, I only feel the twin on the left, not on the right.

    Anyone else get this?

According to the u/s technicians (and there have been a lot), the twins are kinda weirdly placed. Both are anterior, and Twin B (on the right), is somehow underneath Twin A.

I don't really expect to feel much, but should I be feeling equal movement?

  2. I felt more movement with baby b. I always thought something was wrong with baby a. I would poke at her but I couldn't tell which one was moving. I loved going to my bi-weekly ultrasounds just to see that her heart was still beating.

Up until a week ago I almost NEVER felt baby B ... this past week I have felt her more.

Honestly, you never really are 100% which you are feeling. Perhaps one of them is pushing the other and you are feeling that.. so it seems like you only are feeling one. You could have a placenta which is covering up movement. There are so many factors. It is still early. WIth twins however, they do tend to be pretty 'compact' in there that it is possible that you won't feel as much. IF you are concerned, call your clinic. When that was the case for me, it seems my twins were facing each other hitting/kicking each other. It hasn't stopped! It is hard not knowing.

I rarely felt my Baby B - the boy, his position made it difficult, not to mention his sister was a wiggle worm who was always beating him up so I felt her A LOT more. On the ultrasounds we were able to see him moving, but it was a very rare occurence when I felt him. My dh was never able to feel them kick or move!

i feel baby A alot more than B. There will be up to 2 days in a row where i will feel nothing from B at all, and i get all panicked that something has happened to him. But the u/s today showed them both very active and kicking eachother. The u/s tech said sometimes it's hard to feel one cause of the position he is in, but that he's fine.

Mine go back and forth often- for a while I will feel the girl predominately and the boy not at all- then they switch --- or so I think?! Its tough having two! I too love my apts so I can see how things are going!
