I finished chemotherapy for breast cancer two months ago. About seven weeks ago my soles of both feet felt sore and painful. Mainly the balls of the feet and it worsens as the day goes on. I am not sure where to get a diagnosis or help. My gp advised I go to a Podiatrist

Is this something you can advise on? Are there things I can do to alleviate it? I am trying cold pads and soaking my feet in Epsom salts with some effect. Could this have been brought on by chemotherapy
    Thank you for your help.

I had something similar during treatment, and my feet looked almost sunburned with peeling spots. My oncologist said it could be Hand-Foot Syndrome linked to chemo, especially capecitabine. I used loads of unscented moisturiser and wore soft socks all day. Walking got tricky, and I ended up seeing a Dallas ankle doctor for extra support and care while healing. That really helped with managing the pain and mobility issues.
