Positive thoughts for my girl

    We have been here since yesterday. She had been sick for a few days and then she stopped drinking and eating. She was dehydrated. Her glucose level was 46. :eek: She still won't drink anything. She has been on the IV so I know she is getting enough fluids but until she starts drinking by mouth, we are stuck here. :(

    Please send healing vibes to my sweet pea. I miss my other kiddos tons!!

    All positive healing thoughts are being sent to Emily! I hope she recovers quickly and you are out of there soon. Is it flu? I know the strain is nasty this year. Big hugs!

    Thanks guys. She has now been diagnosed with Coxsackievirus or aka hand, foot and mouth disease. She has ulcers on her throat. She still won't drink anything. :( I just wish she would try. They are giving something to ease the pain of her throat but it won't cure it.

    Kristi, I'm so sorry you're going through all this. I'll be sending my thoughts your way for a quick recovery.

    I hope you have lots of extended family/friends support to help you manage in the meantime. Thanks for keeping us posted.

    About 7:30 she finally took about 8 ounces of Pediasure. Please pray that it is a continuing trend and she will come home soon. Thanks guys!!
