does the position (really low or high)of the baby depend on where they cut for the c-section?

I don't think it does. I had one baby very high and one very low and my incision seems to be in the same place everyone else's is (going by description here ;) )

I've always sort of wondered that, but I don't think so. In general the incision tends to be very low -- if the babies are high up, the doc just reaches up. My incision is completely covered by my hair down there, even though Amy was wedged way up under my ribs.

I don't think so, I think there is a "general spot" for cutting for a c-section.
