portable high chairs?

We go to mil's or out to dinner pretty often and I'm thinking of getting some portable high chairs. Sometimes there just isn't room in a restaurant for those big wooden ones they have & we've been to a couple places that only had ONE on hand. What are your recommendations?

 

We have this Safety First one.. This is what we've always used, we don't even have regular high chairs. And we do take them with us to Grandparents' houses for dinner, we just took them to a b-day party for my nephew on Saturday.

 

We have the Fisher Price Healthy Care booster seats and love them!

 

Another vote for the FP Healthy Care Boosters. We love them!

 

We have the Safety First ones as well and are happy with them too!

 

I also have the FP healthy care boosters. I love them, we use them at my parents, my IL's, in resturants when needed and I also shipped them to the hotel I was staying at on my last vacation so the girls could easily be fed breakfast in the room.

 

We have the First Years Reclining Feeding Seats. (They're essentially the same as the Safety First and FP ones, except the back seems a little taller and it has a padded seat back -- which is nice, but also one more thing that can get dirty.)

We've only been to a restaurant once or twice with the twins, and we used the restaurant high chairs, but we take them when we go to dinner at my ILs. My MIL has even learned how to set them up by herself -- that's how easy they are!

 

WE LOVED our Fischer Price boosters (as mentioned by pp). We wore them out (literally). We always had them on hand in the car for restuarants. We took them camping, to hotels, the babysitters.. We originally bought them because we lived in a small apartment but they were perfect in our house too. Next to crib tents I think these were the greatest invention ever made.....

 

I have this and LOVE. I started using it when I moved the girls from a infant carrier to a convertible, its been worth every penny. I haven't found a a table it doesn't fit yet. I even stuffed them in my suit cases and took them to FL this winter. They are always in my truck in case we got out.

Same here! They are so easy to clean, and so portable. We use them at home instead of highchairs. I got ours at Target for $25 each.
