    Help!
My daughter has a bumpy red rash within the folds in her neck (they are neverending!). I know she stores milk up there, and I try to clean it out as often as possible, but it's getting worse! I have been putting vaseline on it - is that the right thing to be doing?

    Help!

We put baby powder on our little ones' necks after baths. This helps to keep it dry. We have been doing this since they were tiny after we saw some redness. We've never had a problem since. Good luck to you!

I use diaperrash cream, rub it in good so its not all white, works like a charm.

i make a cornstarch paste with water and put that in there occassionally to dry it out. My doc said if it's at all irritated or raw, to put some bacetracin on it..

I use the original A&D ointment (in the yellow and white tube) on just about everything from neck and diaper rash to scratches and it works like a charm!

we just had a nasty rash like that and the dr. said it was "classic drool neck" and caused from the milk too. She gave us a antifungal cream that we had to get from the pharmacy. Maybe ask your dr. about that - ours were red and prickly and went almost all the way around. WE also started using burp rags to collegt the milk that ran down their chins. that helped too. The dr also said to use desitin to dry it but to keep it as dry as possible to i'm not sure that an ointmnet would work. Good luck

Me too. Before bed I wash her neck and put a little dab of it on there. It's usually cleared up by the morning.

I used corn starch but I may go out and buy some butt paste for it. *Knock wood* no diaper rashes here so I've never had to use the stuff.

Ashley has the same thing! What is diaper rash cream? What's the best one to buy?
