    OK,

For the last 10 baths, my DD decides to doodie in the tub...I don't know how to stop it. I have to evacuate the babes every time, then it turns into pure chaos!!! (remember Caddy Shack??) Help!!!! What do you do in a case like this?

I haven't had this problem, but I think if it were me, I would bathe that child with a swim diaper on. If you cloth diaper, you could just use an empty pocket diaper or a snug diaper cover. If you don't cloth diaper, you could always buy a nice reuseable swim diaper. Here are some: Swim Diapers

    Jen,
That is my biggest fear! The swim diaper is a good idea. I am sure it is so frustrating. :hug99:

Good advice....or check out the timing of their bathing....how long after their last feeding? Can you bathe a little later or feed a little earlier....just something to think about!

    Good luck...

 I am sure it isn't funny when it happens. How long is she in the water before she goes?

It all depends...sometimes I can tell she is ready (beet red face, grunting lol!!) and, I yell..."ABORT! ABORT!!...Poopy in the tub!!" I try to get her out in time, but I usually fail and I don't want to scare them and make her feel bad....seriously, sometimes I think she does feel bad :(
Then, I have two wet, naked babies crawling around my house...crying, slipping - it is crazy! I try to lotion them up and dress ASAP. It is exhausting...but, funny at the same time. I just hope it ends soon!! I am also sick of scrubbing my bathtub every single day. ahhhhhh

Oh, and sometimes I don't even know she went until I see a dreaded floater!! eeeeewwwhhhhhh!

    O my Gosh
that just happened to us the other day, my mother was over helping put babies to bed and we were just going to do a quick tubby so i only put in two tubby toys and me and mom and my hubby are talking and watching the babies play in there bath seats and my mom starts stairing into the tub and says where did that toy come from. The three of us lean in for a closer look and than started laughing and pulling out naked babies as fast as we could. Good thing my mom came up that night, her and i put babies to be and hubby bleached the tub

The warm water helps their little poop chute relax. Sorry no advice but hope she stops doing it before you lose your mind!

Oh, one last idea, though it's kind of a pain in the butt. My oldest used to poop whenever we went to the swimming pool and it was SO GROSS. This child never had regular turds, and it would be a mess in the swimming pool. So embarrassing! Anyway, we started going to the pool only immediately after a large bowel movement.

For me with twins it would be more trouble than it's worth to schedule their baths around their bowels, but it would probably work.

Too funny... (At least until it happens to me! :D )

Since warmth seems to get things going, would it help to put some kind of heating pad or warm compress on her tummy before bath time?

It happens some here, not too often. Audrey just freaks out! She knows it doesn't belong there and 'tells me' in no uncertain terms!

Sean did that for a few weeks then stopped. I'm hoping your little Jaques Poopsteau will too!

I don't have an answer but you are CRACKIN' me up. I keep laughing out loud when I am trying to hush because the babies are sleeping. You are a funny funny girl. Good luck with the poops.

Jen, I like the swim diaper idea. :D Also I think it might be one of those "WOW, I can do this now thing"... and then it will get old and stop happening.

This happened with my oldest DD all the time so I feel your pain! She eventually just outgrew it. Until then we would re-wash her, bleach all the toys and bathtub. I think I tried to schedule her baths after she went in the morning, but I was also home so I had that option . Now I actually give her and the babies showers with me in the morning.
