Poop, vomit and other antics

I'll preface my vent with Im pregnant (again, suprise!) so mornings have been kinda rough, Im tired and patience is thin. Not a good combo.

This morning I got up and EVERYTHING STUNK and I mean EVERYTHING. Its still winter, not quite 40 degrees here and I was opening windows left and right.
I couldnt wait for DH to get up and take out the trash cause I coudlnt get near it. As I entered the babies room to get them up for the day I was overwhelmed. We cloth diaper and the morning diapers always smell the worst. eww I just couldnt take it. I even went out and bought disposables for the time being until this phase passes.

As we headed to the kitchen and I started their breakfast, something set me off and next thing you know Im full on puking :bad: in the kitchen sink - lovely.

The day goes on and the babies are into anything/everything they can get their grimy hands on. Ripped toilet paper, putting dog food in the water bowl, toy stealing, glass & garbage can licking (yuck!) you name it, they were doing it. :girl_devil: :catfight:

The day concluded with both babies getting out of the bath and one preceeding to POOP on the floor before I could get both diapers on. Then not only did that baby step in it, but his sister stepped in, and just when I thought I had cleaned it all up, I got to step in it too.

Ive screamed at my children all day. Ive done everything short of putting them on the curb with a sign that said " Take me, Im free".

ugh :grr: . I hope tomorrow is a better day.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! You have my total respect for coping with pregnancy and twinfants!! Sorry you had a crap day - sure it will get better! Hugs.

 

Oh my, I want to cry for you. I'm telling you that smells in early pregnancy (actually my entire twin pregnancy) were the absolute worst! I can't imagine. Even after having my kids I still had troubles with smells as a "hang-over" from pregnancy. That's not a banner day for you...so sorry. Hang in there.
