My son has had loose, green-yellow poop that looks like it contains cottage cheese since Wednesday, he has no other symptoms of illness. I worry about any changes in his stool because of his history with NEC but now my daughter's poop is similair looking although not as watery. Could it be just a stomach bug? Has anyone seen cottage cheese looking poop in thier formula fed babies?

    Thanks,
    Rebecca

If this is the first time this has happened, and they have been on the same formula for a while, I would consider that it could be caused by a solid you are feeding them or they have some bug. I would make sure they are taking liquids though, like Pedialyte, if they have loose stools. Keep them hydrated best you can and it should pass. I would consult my doctor though if you are really worried.

Do they eat solids? There might be something to that..... I agree with Sarah. Make sure they get plenty of solids and if you are concerned enough, take temps and call the doc on Monday!
