I'm in the market for a new stroller and was curious what was easiest.

I find that the stroller I use the most is our jogging stroller. As long as the weather is nice either my husband or I go for a walk with them just about every day.
My second choice currently is our side by side. (jeep umbrella type one) It folds up fairly small for in the car and is lightweight. We use it at Target, the mall etc.
My tandem stroller (Graco Quattro Duo) I use if I am going somewhere that I know doesn't accomodate the sbs easily. I loved this when they were tiny because it was so easy to pop the infant seats into and they could both lay down in the back seat if they were out of the car seats.

For us it really depended on the age... When they were infants the tandem duo-glider stroller was a lifesaver!!! It was so nice not having to take them out of their carseats to go somewhere.
However once they really started sitting up we bought a combi sbs and LOVE it!! We do still use the tandem because it has more storage for things but for little trips we always have the sbs with us.
    Good luck in your search!

Yep, depends on age but at 8 months I would have to say SBS and still do.

I voted SBS. I used a tandam (duoglider) when they were infants but we had to get a SBS by the time they were 1 b/c they hated the tandem. The baby in back complained b/c the seating wouldn't sit up right (a major complaint I have seen with this stroller) We have 2 single Maclarens and a SBS Maclaren and love all 3 of them. The singles are great when you have another person walking with you and the SBS are great for trips to the zoo, etc.

I have a quattro duo, and I can no longer steer it when the twins are IN it!!! I bought a baby jogger city mini and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I can turn it with one hand, and it is easy to set up and collapse. I had to have a stroller with a single bar handle so I can hang on to my four year old if necessary, and still steer. There are a few things I don't like about it (I still can't figure out where all of the velcro strips connect), and the cup holder is an additional $30 some odd dollars, but for the money WOW!!! (My first choice was a MBUD, but I was worried the size would be prohibitive for me wanting to take them out on short trips.)

I think tandems are okay when your kids are little or you often go places where a SBS wouldn't fit. But once they get older and are more aware the baby in the back will hate the view and there will be lots of fighting (over who gets the front, stop kicking me, he always gets the front, etc., etc., etc.)

SBS's do provide the freak-show view, though. "Oh! Look! It's Twins! Are they twins? How old are they? Are they Identical? Which one ____ {fill in the blank}?"

I had the double SNG while we were in carseats and loved it for what it did. We have 2 SBSs now and I would never have another tandem. We are constantly on the go and I have very rarely run into places where it won't go (typically because they all support ADA) and the boys love to be able to see each other, and be able to reach over and grab the others toy. :) It's also made it possible for me to feed them both just by sitting in front of the stroller and holding bottles. I couldn't have done that with a tandem as easily.

I voted tandem. We have a Graco tandem that we used a lot with the infant car seats and that we still use for shopping trips. For walks around the neighborhood, we use the SBS jogging stroller by Baby Trend. The double jogger is too cumbersome to use for trips to the mall, Target, etc. If I had to have just one stroller, I'd go with the SBS, although I wouldn't go with the Graco one I have. It only has a 3 point harness! The things I didn't know when I was pregnant...

We have a tandem and a jogger. I use the jogger every morning for our walk, but tend to take the tandem everywhere else b/c the snack tray is so convient. We've never had any fighting over seats b/c Jake has ALWAYS been in the back since Ryan likes to pull hair. They look at me funny if I'm in a hurry and put them in the wrong spot. I also love the sunshades.

ETA: I wish I had a SBS but think I would still use the tandem more.

we orginally bought a tandem pram but took it back and bought a side-by-side one instead as it was easier to manage. Now, however, I can see the advantages of tandem as they keep trying to steal each other´s toys when we´re out and about! That can mean some tears!

We've always used our jogging stroller (Mountain Buggy Urban Double) much more than any of the others. We never had a tandem, but we also had a Snap & Go and a Maclaren Twin Traveller (double umbrella stroller). We still have the Maclaren, but only use it for times when we're going somewhere in the car and only using the stroller for a short walk. If it's a long walk, it's worth hauling the jogger into the car, because it's so much easier to push.

The MB doesn't have a snack tray, which is kind of a pain sometimes, but since we've never had one, I don't really miss it.

I would say at 8 months a SBS would be the best choice. We had the Combi Twin Savvy w/snack trays and that was by far my favorite stroller.

Anyone heard of the peg perego sng? It is a tandem stroller where the seats can face forward forward or looking at each other. This is the stroller I am looking at for tandem. I have no clue for side by sides.

This is what we have as well and LOVE it!! However, I think it is called the Combi Twin Sport now. I started out with a duoglider and HATED it! It was way too heavy and cumbersome, and my girls did not like it at all. If I could do it all over again, I would have just got a double SNG, and then moved on to a SBS.

    Good Luck in your search!

I googled "peg perego sng" and all I got were recalls! I think you would be better off with either the frame SNG or the Graco Quattro Tour (not the Duo Glider). Then get either a SBS or just use the Quattro (tandem). You can always start another thread asking about the best SBS.
