Mine don't. Won't even try a piece of raw lettuce or tomato.

Couldn't vote because...my daughter eats salad and my son hands it back to you while saying NO!!! and shaking his head.

Oh yes. Especially Katherine. She loves salad.

It started out with green peppers and onions. I would take them off of my salad at restaurants and put them to the side. K&M reached right for them and would chow down. That lead to lettuce, cukes, tomatoes and black olives. They both love black olives!

I seldom make a salad. I usually cut up a cucumber to have along with dinner.

Katherine will actually ask for salad when we eat at my parent's house. She ask for lettuce from my sandwich also.

Doug often will have a salad after he finishes his main course. Meghan always takes some lettuce from him. Nolan is only interested in the croutons.

Mine are younger (almost 2), but I voted "nope never." Occasionally Amy will taste a bite of tomato and then spit it out.

I think one of them did use to eat things like cucumber and bell peppers, but that was during the 10-18 months "eat anything" phase. I don't think either of them ever ate lettuce.

Mine do, in fact sometime that's the only thing they will eat. We have salads 3 to 5 times a week. Usually lettuce, spinach, cucumber, carrots, radishes, and tomatoes (they won't eat these last two, but I keep putting them in there in hopes that some day they will). Some times a pomegranet sprinkled on top. Rarely a green pepper, I love them but they are expensive here. I also put cheese and crutons on top and haven't found a dressing they don't like yet. They even liked blue cheese the one time our local store had it.

But I have a new worry, this weekend Gabby had a cough and threw-up from coughing, and I realized they might not be chewing raw veggies as well as they should...

DS won't touch lettuce for anything. He took a bite of one of my sandwiches that had lettuce on it and gagged for like 10 minutes-no kidding! He does like cabbage though. :unknw:

Katelyn will eat lettuce fine but when it comes to tomatoes she will bite and chew it and then spit it out once she has sucked the juice out-- no joke, but never swallows it!!

Blake will not even look at salad, let alone let me get a piece near his mouth!

My kids will eat anything that doesn't run away first. (That's why I still have 6 cats!) They all love salad.

Katrina loves tomatos but will nibble on some lettuce, she also used to eat black olives but decided one day she didn't want to eat them anymore. Kira used to eat tomatos but not anymore and will eat a little lettuce but they won't eat a whole salad. Kira likes carrots and cucumbers too. The girls starts eating lettuce when they were about 3 1/2 before that they would put it in their mouth and spit it right out and even at 3 1/2 it was only a little piece here and there when I was having a salad.

My girls like to eat our salads. I think that they really like the blue cheese dressing or ginger dressing. P and P also love to eat tomatoes. Their favorite type is the little grape tomatoes.

I voted yes, but they didn't always. Maya started eating salad when she was three, and she loves blue cheese dressing! Brynne started eating some vegetables from the salad this summer, and had recently started to eat the lettuce. Neither of them like the tomatoes, but I keep trying. The LOVE cucumbers with vinegar and onion, or Ken's Italind dressing. Balsamic vinegarette is also a big hit. I think the dressing is why they actually eat the salad!

One thing that I do is "make your own salad night", and they LOVE it! I cut up all of the different vegetables and put them in small bowls on the kitchen table. The bring their bowl to the table and choose what vegetables they want. They usually take everything, even things they don't like. They carry their salad to their seat and I help them on put the dressing. They are so excited about doing this that they eat way more salad than if I hade made it for them. Alos, this has helped them to try more vegetables and they actually like them!

Bea loves, loves, LOVES tomatoes! She always wants the tomatoes out of my salad. She will sometimes eat lettuce and carrots, but only if they are shredded. Ainsley will ask for lettuce but that's it. I've never actually fixed them a salad and put it in front of them. I have tried giving them pieces of other veggies but they aren't interested, or will chew them up and spit it out.

My girls absolutely LOVE tomatos, cucumbers, carrots (i grate small), red pepper etc etc. most of the cucumbers here (i live abroad) are the little kind which i quarter lengthways and the girls happily eat as a snack. they've always loved tomatos - here the medical professionals recommend them as a cure for constipation (with their skins on)! i've never tried them with any salad dressing as we usually eat ours neat here, but i know they love olive oil.

I'm not sure whether it's because the vegetables are more flavoursome here, but pretty much all the kids here eat loads of vegetables and salads and grow up eating tomatos and cucumbers cubed small into a salad.

I said yes but they didn't always. Only very recently Arwen LOVES to eat salad. Lorien still has no interest in it but Arwen will eat ANYTHING we will while Lorien remains extremely picky. I'm so glad she loves salad because dh and I eat it at least 5 out of six nights a week with our dinner. We are deffinately addicted to salad.

My daughter (6.5) loves salad (lettuce, baby spinich, peppers as long as they are not green, tomatoes, cucs, zuchinin, carrots, etc) She says her favourite food in the word is cucumber, and will choose salad over french fries in a meal (I often ask to substitute for the kids meals) She has been like this since she was 2.

My son (3.5) Barely eats veg, though with dip I can get him to eat cucumber, baby tomatoes, carrots, and red pepper. He will not touch lettuce or spinich though.

    I voted other.
