I am just curious what others are doing. My guys seem to be really crowding each other and I think the days of seperate cribs is quickly approaching.

    Thanks

At 3 months we were still sleeping together all the time.

Our slept together for about the first month month in a half than we had to separate them as they were kicking and hitting each other all the time. So they went to their own cribs very early on and slept much better.

My guys were ready for their own cribs at about 3 months exactly. It was nice to have them sharing in the early days but they did even better with sleeping in their own cribs.

Mine were (and are) snugglers. They slept like a couple of puppies snuggled up to each other for the first 7 months. I finally put them in separate cribs side-by-side when they seemed to be keeping each other up more than keeping each other comfortable. They adjusted without issue.

my girls will not sleep at all unless they are in the same crib. I usually put one at one end and the other at the other end, but with in a short period of time they wiggle right next to each other. I tried to seperate them, but I was up all night trying to get them to sleep. I guess they will let me know when they are ready for seperate beds.

two4one07 - that is exactly what I imagined would happen. I thought they'd be inseparable little buddies from birth. But no such luck! My babies are 7.5 months now and they're just starting to notice that there's another baby in the house at all!!

Mine were seperated probably around the first month ... my DS was a spitter-upper and I was always afraid he would make a mess of his sis, so I wanted them apart!

after only 2 months of sleeping in the same crib, Colby figured out how to rotate himself such that we'd find him kicking kellen in the head. We've had them in separate cribs ever since. We do let them both hang out in the same crib in the mornings, when they wake up, while i'm still getting ready for work - they seem to enjoy it. They "play" together, chat, and I've even found them holding hands.

I voted all the time because at seven months they are sharing a crib... we just put them in it horizontaly side by side. But at three months they slept in their swings all the time until four months.

I had to separate mine for naps around 4-4.5 mo, and we just separated them at night a few weeks ago. They've gotten big and mobile enough to wake each other up constantly. But at 3 mo, they were always sleeping together.

I voted together all the time, though my kids are 4.5 months now. We only just separated them about 2 weeks ago. I found if I had them on the same schedule, or about 30 min off it was fairly easy to get them down together. They don't seem to be sleeping any more soundly now that they're apart, but the rolling into each other has stopped. heh.

Mine have been sleeping seperately from the beginning because ds was a great sleeper and dd, not so much. So this worked out better. :)
