For those who have used these, what do/did you like/dislike about them? Im considering getting a couple to help with feedings when I am alone.

    Thanks!

I loved them the first 4-5 months. I started using them at 3 weeks. It made me so much calmer and it was so much easier to burp them one by one while the other one was happy and content (both my kids love to eat). I stopped using them once they could hold their own bottles and when my girl kept pulling it out of her mouth. I only had the feeding kits and use them on my regular Dr. Browns bottles.

I thought it was a neat idea, I bought two, and noticed that it wouldn't work for me. One- because due to their reflux I was adding cereal in their bottle, and that kept clogging the hose and nipple, second- because my girls didn't like the nipple on that bottle, they where use to the silicone and shape of the bottles before, so I just gave up, I didn't have the patience, if I could get them to eat from them it would of made my life much much easier. Just so you know I do have the bottles that I'm selling if you are interested.

I LOVED them. If it weren't for the Podee Bottles I would be in a puddle on the floor crying. It made feeding time so much easier. I don't know how I would have done it without them. In the small town that I live a 4 month old baby died because she had a bottle propped up in her mouth. She asphyxiated. This happened right after my twins were born.

I also sell them, if you need some. There are several TS moms who sell them.

The one thing that irked me about them was that the tubes were hard to clean. Since then, Podee has made different brushes for cleaning the tubes which makes it so much easier.

I loved them and I know my DH did too! DH could not feed them at the same time until we got these. I used them when we were out. The only thing I didn't like about them was cleaning the tubes but it was worth it.

I bought the pacifeeder b/c it had some features the podee doesn't, a vacuum system that keeps the flow of formula in the tubes so they don't end up sucking air, and a system to help flush water thru the tubes to help clean them better. I just started using it again after trying it at 3 mo at which time they just were too little. DS does well w/ it, he constantly pulls it out of his mouth but usually can get it back in on his own. DD doesn't like the nipple since she is used to avent bottles and the nipple is larger.
hope they work out for you. I think if I used mine more often they would do better but they are practically holding their bottle by now so...

My DH and I will always say that the Podee bottles were the best thing we have ever gotten for the kids. They made our lives so much easier. We started using them around 4 months and continued until we moved to sippy cups. We still used Dr. Browns for the first and last bottles of the day because we liked to sit with them and feed them, but the Podee's were fantastic. They could drink on the go...in the car, stroller, wherever...even in their bouncy seats while I was making dinner or something. Definitely give them a try.

I still use mine and love every free second they give me. My boys have a hard time holding the bottle (and sippy cups too) themselves while they are sitting up and this allows them to feed themselves. FYI, if your babies don't like the nipple that comes with them, the Evenflo nipples will fit the Podee caps. That's what we use! :)
