Seth is going to his Dr/ Specialist appointment today for his leaning one way (it has gotten worse this week and now he is developing a slight flat spot… though my mom says I’m the only one who would notice it)… we decided to take Nathan along as well incase it’s what DH thinks it is as THAT is hereditary and being identical… maybe his isn’t sooo pronounced yet (DH and Google… not a good mix).

I had a bad dream last night that the Dr told me it was spinal cancer… yeah I know :shok: woke up in tears calming myself down that it was just a dream :cray: …

Please think positive thoughts for us, our appointment it at 10:30 PST

I know I maybe working myself up… probably am… but I am a true believer in the power of positive thought…

    Thank you everyone :love0028: …

Obviously I really don't know, but I just think this is going to turn out to be nothing (at least nothing as severe as you are dreaming up :) ). I have a suspicion that it's going to turn out to be torticollis or something that a little physical therapy can easily fix. Or maybe he just has some weak trunk muscles and needs some exercises to strengthen them. I'll say a prayer and keep looking for an update.

Glad THAT appointment is over… yes you were all right it is Torticollis… and boy did Seth scream when the Dr gave us an example of the PT we will be doing… I had to turn away (you know mama bear what to kick the Dr in the head for hurting her baby so bad)… but even after he showed us Seth loosened up a lot… they did an x-ray to make sure it wasn’t scoliosis (as that’s what DH was determined it was… which meant Nathan would have it too) and he said his spin is perfect… and he also said the flat spot will go away quick… as soon as he can move more freely… and he agreed, only a mom or a train professional would have even noticed the starts of a flat spot…

By the way the Dr was VERY impressed I knew what Torticollis was, and asked how I knew about it… and I said TWIN STUFF!!!!! You guys rock… Thank You… it’s funny, I almost feel silly reading my original post now… but hey, better to feel silly then heartbroken…

    :hug99: THANK YOU ALL!!! :hug99:

I'm so glad your appointment went well & it wasn't as serious as you feared. Good luck with physical therapy, I hope he responds quickly!

I'm glad to hear that it well and you have the PT to help. You shouldn't feel silly for the OP though. I've learned that a lot of times my imagination can run away with me. There is just so much that can happen that it's really scary. My pedi did suggest that I limit my use of Google

Well that's a relief! The PT will help a ton. I know Seth won't like it, but you'll both get through this. :)
