Please help

Hi i dont know what else to do!! Im so scared! I had a scan yesterday which made me happy because it confirmed both babies are fine and looking well. I have been getting period like pains for a couple weeks now so was really happy when the scan went well. I am 13 weeks and 2 days and about an hour ago i went to the toilet and there was brownish stuff in my knickers. I wiped myself a couple times and on the toilet roll it came out a medium brown colour. Has anybody else had the same because im sat here worried out of my mind. I rang the horpital and explained but they said just keep an eye on it and if it turns pink or red to come in to the hospital. Oh im so scared please help. x x

 

Had the same around 30 weeks. Went away after a day or so.

Yeh i phoned the hospital as my drs is shut. I might phone the Dr tomorrow if its still the same.

 

Definitely ask the Dr, however brown is generally old blood. If they did a vaginal ultrasound they may have irritated the tissue, but definitely keep an eye on it.

 

Ok i am thinkin it could be because i had sex this mornin? I had an ultrasound scan so it wasnt that. Do you reckon it could be sex?

 

Yes I definitely think it could be from sex. It sounds like old blood that was maybe just knocked loose. But I'd check with the doctor anyway.

 

this happened to me around 9 weeks. i had sex that morning, and afterwards when i went to the rest room,i noticed some brownish blood. that was in april, and i haven't had vaginal sex since then.

when i told my doctor about this, she said that sometimes your placenta can be low and cause a bit of bleeding. not to worry, unless the blood turns a bright red, and continues with cramping.
