    We've got our local mothers' of twins' club consignment sale coming up in a few weeks, along with the Tot Trade consignment sale. Since they won't have another sale until September (when the boys will be 8 months old), I want to really take advantage of these sales to stock up on stuff we'll need for the next 6 months.

    Before the boys were born, I really did my research and stocked up on everything we needed for the first 3 months, but I feel a little more clueless about these next 6 months now that I don't have nearly as much time to research! ;)). Here's what I have thought of so far:

    * feeding seats (thinking about getting the ones that attach to a kitchen chair instead of highchairs)

    * convertible carseats (which I'll buy new)

    * a double stroller for when they outgrow their infant seats/DSNG

    * an exersaucer

    * a jumperoo

    And, of course, clothes.

    What else would you recommend getting?

    We already have 2 bouncy seats, a by-your-side infant seat, a rainforest cradle swing, an arch playmat, a tummy time mat, an Ergo carrier and a Moby wrap.

    Definitely feeding chair or booster; definitely a double stroller (DSNG only lasted us until 5 months), and the play station and jumper. I don't know what kind of carseats you have, but I have graco safe seat, and my guys are still well under the limit at 9 months old, so you maybe able to wait on that.

    In addition you may also want to stock up on other feeding supplies--spoons, sippy cups, bowls, bibs (we go through 4-6 bibs a day). Another big area is baby proofing--most babies crawl around 6-9 months, so they may start getting into things. If you don't already have the superyard that's useful.

    I agree with everything the pp said. My girls stayed in their snug rides until their first birthday, so I would guess you could hold off on the convertible car seats if you wanted to.

    Bibs, bibs, and more bibs! One we started on baby food we went through AT LEAST 8 bibs a day. We didn't need a superyard b/c of the way the house is set up, but I would recommend either a superyard or baby gates, whichever works for you.

    Don't forget a couple of toys. Our favorites are books and bath toys.

    Maybe a Bumbo or two (if they are cheap). I payed $20 for mine and am selling it for the same.

    The Jumperoo is a MUST! If there are any bibs with pockets in good condition, snag those. Board books are good too.

    I keep my boys in pants unless it's really hot out, just so they don't scrape their knees or get rug burns, so if you see some pants, pick those up too. I'll keep brainstorming!

    Toys! Especially the kind that light up or play music. My girls are 10 months now and they love their toys. They are already fighting over them. The toys are so expensive new, I love when I can pick some up for a dollar or two.

    Okay, I thought some more and here are some things I wish I had (or did have) during that time:

    Any kind of one of these. The legs come off so they can use it on the floor. I wish I had mine before their 1st bday.

    FP house (my friends kids use this ALL the time then and now)

    drum (my kids have been using theirs for about 10 months now)

    Any kind of storage unit w/bins is great for all the toys they accumulate. I also agree with 2b2g. Get toys that light up and play music. Maybe bring 4 C and 4 AA batteries in your purse to test them.

    Bath seats were something we used from 5 months to just now at almost 11 months. I LOVED them because I could bathe them at the same time and they were safe. Toys, toys, toys. Feeding bowls, spoons, etc.

    Definitely toys with lights and music. The older they are the more interested they are in the finer details of things. Did you have baby walker on your list? If not, get a couple as they are so useful! I bought loose clothing for them to wear around the house too. Jeans and trousers are a little restricitve when they want to crawl.

    Bibs that cover arms and torso are a big must as eating solids can get pretty messy. Also, buy some bibs that have plastic backing and velcro fasteners so you can control that dribbling and change them regularly! We get through SO many bibs in one day it´s ridiculous! Oh and teethers to chew on as it helps when those teeth start to come in.
