We have been going crazy trying to figure out what to name our boys. We have lots of ideas but cannot commit to anything. What are some of your opinions?

i voted for christian and alexander but really because i'm into more traditional names. that said, i think cooper and parker are a nice combo, too. but i really don't like one traditional and one "surname" type name
    that's just my opinion....

I like nicknames and names that can be shortened as well and I am having a tough time with Parker for that very reason. We thought it sounded good next to Cooper though which was my grandfathers name. Thanks for voting and your input.

I love Henry and Parker.......Have to share, in my son Bennett's preschool class there is a Cooper and he gets called "Cooper the Pooper". Lovely name, but I can see how the name might be teased.

Love Harrison too, very cute. Then again "Chris" and "Alex" are nice shortenings for Christian and Alexander.... Good luck! ~jilian

I shortened them to Chris and Alex in my mind and really liked that.

I voted for Christian and Alexander but I wanted to add I love the name Henry and I think it would also work with either Christian or Alexander. Good Luck!! names are hard :)

I voted Christian and Alexander based purely on the sounds of the name.
But I'm a big fan of names having special meaning for you. So you should choose the ones that are most special to you.

Thanks for the all of the input so far ladies. The girls were so much easier and I already had 2 girls names picked out. It just seems like a bigger responsibility to name boys B)

I am partioal to Alexander since I have one. I like Cooper as well. Our little neighbor up the street is Cooper and we call him Coop. SO-Alex and Coop sound cute together. I like all the names you picked- great job. We had such a hard time finding 2 boy names-much harder to do than girl names. Whatever you name them they'll be great!!! Good luck and let us know what you decide!!!!

My DH doesn't understand this and maybe I am crazy but I am already feeling baby A as Christian. I don't refer to him aloud by that name, only in my head so far. I don't know where it came from because I have never thought about the name before this pregnancy and Chris was never in my top name picks. It is weird. Did anyone else have an experience like this where a name came to you out of the blue that you never gave a second though to before and it just felt like the babies name? I don't know, maybe too much blood is going to my uterus these days

I don't really like Cooper, maybe because it was my friend's dog's name...

I voted Christian and Harrison. I love Harrison, but my dh said no!

My hubby is the one who loves Harrison. I think it is cute but I don't know how I feel about Harry. I guess it works if your prince :)

I keep telling my mother and husband that because they both love the name. They come back with "kids will figure out a way to make fun of any name" but I can't help think that we would be setting the little guy up. I think I would be more likely to choose it as a middle name in honor of my grandfather but I guess it is not completely out of the question yet.

I went through this exact thing!! I felt my Baby B was "Sophie" and just could not for the life of me give that up! We had plenty of other names we were thinking about, and i really really hated that the name is popular, but my heart/gut feeling won out in the end (and thankfully DH likes the name too!) -- i must have thought of her as Sophie for 3 or 4 weeks before we actually made "the" decision though! As for your names, I picked Christian and Alexander b/c I really like long names that could be shortened (my 3 boys all have full names and nicknames) and I think Chris and Alex is a great combo.... no matter what, good luck!

I went through this too, though in a different way. We had two boys names and two girls names picked out for a very long time, before we knew what we were having. For some reason, the boys names just felt "right." Sure enough - two boys!

I voted for Mason and Cooper....but what about Cooper and Christian????
