I am looking for a diaper bag that holds EVERYTHING!! I currently use 2 bags :icon_eek:
    One carries:
    • diapers
    • toys
    • creams/wipes
    • other odds and ends
    • my wallet/phone
    • baggies for dirty diapers
    Bottle Bag carries:
    • normally 2-8oz, 2-6oz,2-4oz bottles
    • formula
    • puffs
    • spoons
    • bibs & burb rags
    • 2-4 double pkgs of satge2 food
Is there a bag out there that holds all of this in one? I hate carrying around 2bags. Especially when we go out to eat somewhere because then I have their 2 highchair covers with placemats to carry, plus the babies!! Please help!

I found the best bag at Home Goods. I wasn't expecting to find a diaper bag there, but they have a really cute baby/kid section, and I found it while looking through there. It's big but it stays pretty flat, so it's easy to carry aorund and it goes in and out of the stroller basket easily. It has MANY compartments and places to put things in, yet it is so roomy. I can fit bottles, sippy cups, snack cups, formula cups, diapers, wipes, burp cloths, bibs, toys, plus all my stuff (wallet, cell phone etc) and still have room for more. It's well made and durable and it's even lined to protect against spills. It comes with a changing pad and bottle insulator. It's pink toile. All this for $30! I love it!

Skip Hop makes a huge bag and it fits on a side by side stroller. Here it is on their site. I dont have one but lately wish I did because I just jam the little bag that I have.

I am pleased with the size of my Petunia Pickle Bottom bag. However, I think you may just need to use a rolling suitcase to carry all of that. WOW! Good luck finding the perfect bag!

This is what I have, and I love it so far...it's fabric, so it's very expandable. Right now I easily carry several diapers, wipes case, changing pad, two changes of clothes, bottles, cloth diapers, 2 blankets, baggies to hold dirty diapers, my wallet, some makeup, and more, and have room for more. You can get it on ebay cheaper....

I have the lands end diaper bag backpack. Just got it last week and I absolutely love it. It's big enough for everything, with some room to spare, and I can wear it on my back and hold both girls. I was hesitant about it, as my first diaper bag, was the juicy couture diaper bag in hot pink, and I really loved it. I didn't like the idea of being kind of frumpy with the back pack, I have to say, it's really not, and it's so convenient, I LOVE IT! Check out their website!

I asked the same question a couple of weeks ago. What I finally did was go Ross and look through their purse section. I found a Nike bag that is big enough to hold all of my things and not look like I am carrying a suitcase. So I suggest looking for any bag that does the trick, not necessarily one that is designated as just a diaper bag.
    Good luck!

My house isn't big enough to hold everything...don't think I'll ever find a bag that will.

I have the Skip Hop Duo Double (also the regular one), and it's large, but not too large, but fits a lot.

I also have a Vera Bradley that I LOVE. It is good for everyday use - but I too have to use another bag when we go somewhere requiring toys and food. I usually end up using an LL Bean canvas bag. I am planning to ask for the Skip Hop for Mother's day. We'll see if DH gets the hint!

    This one is HUGE!!

    Columbia diaper bag

I have this one and it is actually too big, so I just use my old backpack from grad school. It is not very "kiddie" looking, but DH doesn't mind carrying it! Good luck with your search!

I have a lands end canvas diaper bag that I can fit everything into. They come in different colors and you can have them personalized so ours says our last name.

I received a LL Bean canvas zip top bag that has 6 huge pockets on the outisde of the bag, this holds everything and more for 2 kids. This bag blows away anything else on the market. :wavey:

I have this bag and it fits everything I need in it. I don't know if I take as much as you do when I go out but I do take bottles, formula, food and toys along with the others stuff like diapers etc...And I still have lots of room.

Hi - I hope you have gotten a lot of answers about the correst bag and I will give you my take on the subject :icon_biggrin: As a triplet mom, I know I can't carry everything...I don't think my poor back could handle it. So what I do is keep a bag in the car at all times - it holds the following- extra diapers, wipes, formula, pacis, blankets, toys, 2 sets of clothes and misc items... My actual diaper bag is ONE Vera Bradley messanger bag ( so I can sling it over my body) I only carry 4- 5 diapers, 3 bibs, 1 pac of wipes and filled bottles and 2-3 jars of food - that's it!

I keep the car bag stocked at all times and - my carry bag is actually really light. I figure if I really need something usually I can get to my car. or if we are going on a day long outing we can take 2 bags. - ex the zoo or seaworld we took 2 small bags.

I hope this helps - I know I hate to carry tons of stuff!!!!

    Good luck

I have the lands end bag too and LOVE it. I have never heard a complaint. I went through 3 diaper bags before I saw someone recommend this one and immediately bought it and have no complaints myself!

Thanks everyone for your suggestions! I have a lot of research to do on all these bags. Plus save up some $$$!
navywf757- I have that bag right now, and it's not big enought to hold the bottles, formula, etc. In the beginning it was great. I guess I just like to have extra stuff in case I need it!

I love to have everything I might possibly need with me, but I don't like hauling around a huge suitcase. What I've done lately is to get a clear plastic box from Sterilite that's small enough to fit behind the backseat on the floor, and I put most of the food stuff & bottles in there. That way when I'm out I can just add a few things to the diaper bag that I know I'll need while I'm in the store, and leave the rest behind if it's not near time for them to eat.

I'm not sure how big this bag is, but I've heard really awesome things about it: Ju Ju Be Packabe . I know they're pretty spendy, but they're also really good quality. If you look here you can see some actual pictures (have to scroll down a little) of how much real moms packed into their bags.

i have a fleurville mothership (that i got on craigslist for $30 instead of the $150 they wanted in teh store!)....it's nice and big but my one complaint is it's pretty heavy. I've heard great things about the lands end backpack although I'm hesitant because i don't want the 'frumpy' look but - funny, my vanity about almost everything else has fled since i had the girls so i think function is going to win over form!

I got the Posh Baby Ultimate diaper bag -- haven't used it yet, but it's really big, and seems like it will hold a lot. Lots of great organizational pockets, and it can worn either as a backpack, messenger or regular shoulder bag. Chic, too, not frumpy at all, though the straps aren't terribly comfortable when worn as a backpack. The bag itself is not heavy at all. Down side is it's fairly expensive.

I was debating between that one and the JuJuBe Packabe that a PP mentioned.....but I think the Packabe is somewhat smaller (though people love it) -- and I'm a heavy packer, at least in the beginning. (Plus, I still need to carry a sippy and various odds and ends for my 3-year-old.)
