it is cold so we dont get out much for walks anymore. we are contained to our living room that is filled with a playmat, exersasucer and jumperoo.
is there *too* much time that the LO's can spend in or with these toys?

I don't know if there is really a limit on how long they should be inside with those things, but my babies always tended to get bored after awhile & so did I. I tried to get out as often as I could even if it was just to walk around the mall or something. If we had to stay home, I moved them from room to room throughout the day just to give them a change of scenery.

My LOs spent a lot of time at home and we set up different play areas around the house which worked well. I found recycling their toys helped a lot too (i.e. keeping half hidden for a day or 2 hen bringing them back out). I dont think they can spend too much time on the toys you mention - they will soon tell you if they are bored. Mine loved their playmat and jungle swing chair which had a mobile above it. I gave them lots of tummy time then and they learned to roll both ways quickly. It sounds like they´re doing just fine!

i always heard that a baby shouldnt be in a jumper/excesaucer type of tpy for more than 15 20 mins. i think the problems are about unnatural support on legs and butt

    see here:http://www.ebeanstalk.com/articles/exersaucers-swings-and-jumpers.php

but ask ur ped. to see what they say
