i want to try and save some $$ so was hoping to keep my babies in the pack and play to sleep at night when they first arrive home from the hospital. which playards have the best changing table for the twins to sleep on?

They shouldn't be sleeping on the changing table portion of the pack n play.

There are pack n plays that have the bassinet insert in them that the babies can sleep in (I think mine went to 15lbs.). And then I switched them to the bottom portion without the bassinet until they were 4 mo. old. We also had the changing table feature on the pnp. But not all of them come with all three features. I had a Graco and was really happy with it.

not sure that I will help a lot
we bought graco pack and Play for our son on the fist floor so he can sleep there and we wil lahve another changing table.

I love the changing table and we used it a lot but DS didn't sleep in it at all. he always slept in the bassinet stroller ( we had bugaboo cameleon)
I thought might be because it s smaller and he fill more comfortable there.

but when he grew up a little he like to play inside the PNP.

Very similar discussion in another thread right now. I opted for the Arm's Reach co-sleeper (the orginal, not the mini) for a bassinet. It converts to a pack n play later. I like my Graco pnp (NOT the twin one, tho) which has a "bassinet" of sorts and a changing table, but again, I think you'll have a weight issue for 2 babies.

The Arm's Reach is expensive new, but I got mine on eBay for $125 (including 3 sheets and shipping). For the most part, they are going for around $100 on eBay, depending on how many - if any - extras are being included. Nice thing is that they seem to retain their value! Not a lot of options out there for us.

We're also planning on getting the Arm's Reach Original Co-Sleeper. It holds more weight than the PnP's so we'll be able to use it as a play yard longer.

The co-sleeper is pretty much a PnP with the floor raised up towards the top. I don't see why you couldn't put a sheet down and change your babies right on it. That's what I'm going to do.

New ones are about $190 and new sheets run $13-$15 each, so if you can find a deal on ebay, I'd go for it.

I've been looking into this too and am opting for the Arm's Reach Co-sleeper. They're out there new for 150-200 which is less than the pack n' play.

I purchased a pnp single size (from Australia) nothing flash. It didn't have any mobile type of toys which I'm glad now that it didnt'. It had a bassinet feature which you could easily put both babies into, plus it had a change table area. For less than 100.00 it has been the best deal. I still use the change table for my 14 month olds since it is nice and low. I find the real change tables are too high for any baby after 4 months of age and that roll. I also used the pnp as a nap area to keep the twins separate at nap times. Great deal in my opinion.
