I'm trying to redo my kids play area/superyard with the new toys they got for christams and was wondering if anyone wanted to share ideas or photos of how they have their areas set up.:)

It seems I am always trying to find ways to give the boys more room to play safely. Our house is small so we are limited in what we can do. But we did turn our spare bedroom into a playroom for the boys. This way the toys and such are not all over the house. And no one stays the night at our house anyway. We have the superyard but now mostly use it to block off areas instead of the corral/pen setup. For example we have it around the fireplace and entertainment center and the rest of the living room and dining room are open for them. We have some of the riding toys and such in the living room and then the smaller toys in the playroom. Not sure if that helps you or not, I am always rearranging and trying to find ways to keep them out of trouble :)

This is their play area. Somehow I don't think that you'd want to copy it <smile>

We do something similar to what Shelly does. We gave our girls a 'play room' and we use the super yard to block off the tv area.

I've done the same thing as Paulacraft. Our "wreck" room is the kids play area. I have it kinda split into areas: kitchen, dress up, books, mega blocks. I have lots of toy bins for different "like" items, as I find it's easier to clean up, and keeps them occupied. This room also has the big entertainment centre and computer desk. It took some baby proofing on both of those things to make them safer for the kids, but they still managed to stick 4 DVD's into the PS3.The only part of the room that is not accessible to them is the woodstove. I've always believed in allowing the kids to learn what is a touch item and what is a no touching item. I can't expect everyone to babyproof their house, and the twins need to learn how NOT to touch.
