I am driving to Nashville tomorrow with the boys by myself. My parents live in Nashville and my mom is graduating from nursing school and my brother is graduating from high school. My husband is gone with the National Guard for his two week summer camp. I am not too worried about the trip, but I have a question. I am planning on stopping at least once to let them stretch. What are some good restaurants/fast food places for babies that can't walk yet to play?

Chic-fil-a! (Is that how it's spelled?) My girls love their playground.

If it is a nice day why not just let them crawl in the grass and put a few toys out? Less germy!

Watch our for dog poops though... ugh. I don't think I would trust any place on the highway.

I have no suggestions but I wanted to give a big :clapping: to your Mom and brother. I hope you and the little ones have a safe and enjoyable trip!

Thanks -- someone else had suggested Chick-fil-a. Maybe I can find one along the way. I know I don't want to stop at a McDonalds or BurgerKing since more kids would have been likely to stop there.

I also had someone to suggest stopping at a rest stop and putting down a sheet, but I just don't know if they will stay on it. If they go in different directions I will be on my own.

Thanks Nanci. I am very proud of my mom, she has always taken care of us and never herself it is good to see her doing something for herself for a change.

I second Chik-fil-a! We stopped there once and part of their play area had a "toddler zone" that had some things lower down and was pretty separated from the bigger stuff. They also had better high chairs than most places, they were plastic and had a little higher back. And, they had placemats for the kids (the plastic kind that stick to the table). It was great!

Bring along a blanket to lay in the grass and let them crawl around on.
