Pillows?

When did you girls give your twins a pillow to sleep on in thier crib?

This weekend we spent a lot of time at my sisters house. We always make a pallet and put pillows on the floor to corral them, everytime I went into check on them they were both sound asleep with thier heads on the pillow.

It was really cute but I was just wondering at what age do you give them one?

Any advise?

 

we put pillows in their cribs when they turned one. we have the little mini-pillows that we got from potterybarnkids.com. they actually use them too! it's so cute!

 

We started around 1 1/2 with mini pillows from Ikea. Now they are on normal pillows, but they loved them! You can probably just go to a not too puffy regular sized pilow!

 

Mine are almost 2.5 and they don't have pillows yet. They sleep great, so I figure why mess with having one more thing in the crib.

However, in a special situation like needing to sleep on a pallet on the floor, I might go with a pillow as a reward for staying in bed!

 

Mine have had pillows from as soon as they could roll over.

 

Our boys got pillows for Xmas, so they were 21 months. They adopted them pretty immediately and now won't go to sleep/nap without them., They aren't finicky, and easily use a different one if at Gmas, they are just attached to 'a pillow' as a comfort item.

I purchased small (12" x 16") pillow forms from a fabric store and sewed up a couple of pillow cases to go with them. IMO, they are the PERFECT size.

 

WE gave our girls pillows when they were about 1, they were the ones from one step ahead and then my mom made pillow cases for them. We just gave my son a pillow around 17mths (no reason for giving it to him later just never thought about it) and his is a little smaller than my girls and I got that one from when I was in the hospital when he was eing born. My hospital gives you a little pillow for your back or stomach so we made a pillow case for that one for him.

I forgot to add that my girls got regular size pillows when they moved to twin beds at 27/28 mths.

 

We have 2 of those smaller pillows and I made matching pillow cases for it when we seperated them into thier own rooms. I guess it would be safe to get them out for them now.
