L & M still don't sleep all night and on the nights that they end up in bed w/ me or dh *gasp* they always crawl up and lay their heads on the pillow and sleep like rocks. Is there a pillow for toddlers that would fit in their crib or is that even safe? When do most start using pillows?

I don't know when it is considered "safe" for them to have a pillow. But I know my older kids were in a regular bed before they were 2 and they all used pillows then. I don't think it would be a problem at this age if it were fairly flat & not too fluffy. Just my opinion though.

I'm not sure of the age either, but we got the kids pillows when they turned 2. We ordered them from Mr. Bobbles Blankets and they really love them. At the time, they were giving a twin discount that one of our members managed to get (I think it was Jennie-OH).

Mine seem to sleep better when on my pillow, too. I don't know what the deal is, or if/when to add pillows. I always just put them in when moving to a big bed before. All my others moved to a big bed by now, but these two are nowhere near moving-that and I don't need the crib.

We have Mr. Bobbles pillows too and they started using them around 2 years 2 months or so. They are great first-time pillows as they are not too big.

We bought child sized feather pillows from Pacific Coast

    http://www.pacificcoast.com/shopping/produ...p;iProductID=88

From the link above: AllerRest Fabric® is all natural and 100% cotton. No chemicals or pesticides are used. The combination of AllerRest Fabric® and Hyperclean® EuroFeathers® creates an effective, long-term protection from dust mites.

They are also machine washable, and I throw them in at least once a month. Easy to dry with a couple of tennis balls or in our case, a couple of baby tennis shoes that never saw the out doors.

They squash small for packing and are not thick when they lay down on them. They fluff nicely, like a feather pillow should. We've been very pleased with them.

I was taught that they could have a pillow from around the age of one. I think they would be fine with a fairly flat pillow.

i've heard age 2. i think as long as it is a fairly flat and firm pillow, it is ok.
