Pillow in the crib

I was just curious as to when you ladies started letting your babies sleep with a pillow under their heads. Sometimes I feel bad not giving them that extra comfort, but at the same time I'd rather be safe than sorry. Most of the time they roll onto their bellies to sleep and they're moving just fine on their own now.

 

I didn't give my twins pillows until they turned 2 and with Liam he was probably a month shy of 2. I bought the small toddler pillows at that time.

 

I have not done pillows yet. I did put a pillow under DD's mattress to elevate one side when she had a cold. This is a great question!

 

We still dont have pillows in their cribs and they are over 2. I dont plan on giving them pillows until we transition them to a bed.

 

My girls still don't have pillows and they are 16 months. I am thinking I'm going to wait until they move into a bed, unless they ask for one or give me some indication of wanting one.

 

Mine are 18 months and they dont have a pillow. I also was going to give them a pillow when they go to a big bed. Around 2. Although they do have blankets and a huge stuffed dog that they snuggle with.

 

We'll probably give them once when we switch to toddler/twin beds.

 

I waited until they asked (they were 2). They still only sleep on the pillow maybe 1/4 of the time.

 

We are almost 18 months and will probably wait until they are in their regular beds or until they ask us for one.

Same here. I have only just thought about giving Milo one (he's 1.5) because he asks for a teddy at night and he uses that as a pillow. I never gave one to Ella tell she moved to a bed.

 

Just a week prior to their 2nd birthday. They kept asking for one so we let them have one.
