Pierced their ears today

So I finally gave in to dh and got the girls ears done today. I was really nervous to do it but we went ahead. Madison got light pink studs and Brooke got a light lavendar stud. They were MAD! But got over it pretty quickly and I have to say they look really cute. We had a ton of people watching, even people just standing there outside the store just staring in the windows. Only one person said something mean, it was an older lady walking out with her friend, well she said it was cruel. I really was scared to do it and thought it was mean but they got over it so much quicker than their shots and I figured they only need them once in their life and now they wont remember them. If I remember correctly, haveing earrings put in isn't terribly painful after the initial shock. Just keep their ears clean and enjoy!

Too cute! They look great! I decided to wait to get my DD's done because I want her to remember it. I went when I was 10 and it was fun. I want to do that with my daughter too

You're always going to find someone who will say something mean. I had a lady yell at me for taking my babies to the mall. She said it was too cold out. It was 45 degrees and we were indoors

 

I have been thinking about getting DDs done too... Just not sure if I'm ready for it yet! They look adorable though! I'm really tempted!
