sooo according to my records and the u/s report i have dichorionic, diamniotic twins..im guessing that means 2 placentas, 2 sacs? which means definatly fraternal? apparently i would not have been getting any more u/s until 20wks, and then monthly u/s in the 3rd trimester, and an antenatal (huhhh?) u/s after 32 wks.
for the last u/s (9wk 4d) normal fetal poles were "noted" for both babies, but a yolk sac was only seen for twin A. at the u/s before that (8wks 6d) yolk sacs were seen in both babies. does anyone know if this is this bad?

Identical can be in there own sacs with their own placentas too. Higher chance of frat, but can be identical.

so is it okay that 1 baby still had a yolk sac at 9wks 4d, and 1 didnt? or is 1 or the other an indicator of something bad. im only curious because i havent had an u/s since then and im kinda worried i only have 1 baby. my little brother had a VT, so im nervous.

My ID twins had their own placentas & sacs.

As for the yolk sac going away, that's normal. There is a range of time when it happens so it's not at all weird that one would have it and one wouldn't during that range of time. If the baby were in trouble, there would be a notation of threatened miscarriage and I would think the doctor would tell you.

I know it's hard to not worry :hug99:

Yes, if they are b/g or if they end up having different blood types, then you would know right away. Otherwise you may want to save up some pennies for a zygosity test after the birth if you still have questions a while after they arrive.
