Photo's of my boy's

    I found this photographer on craiglist. He charges a flat rate and gives you all the photos on a dvd. I tried taking my boys at 18 months for pictures at a studio and it was a disaster so that's why I went this route. I am so happy with the way they turned out. He was extremly patient with them. He has 3 kids under the age of 3 so that probably explains a lot! :laughing:

    He specializes in outdoor photos of kids and I'm really thinking of giving him a call next summer for some outdoor photos.

    Judy, those are adorable! Your boys are so stinkin' cute! :wub:

    Honestly, one of the best things I ever did was find a private photographer to come to the house. It makes things so much easier on everyone and I think I get better quality photos. I'm glad you found someone you like so much!

    After these photos, I don't think I would return to a regular studio. The last time I had photo's taken was when they were 10 months. I paid over $80 for 5 photos and did not get any of them on a dvd.

    This is his side job and I hope he keeps up with it for years to come.

    i'm also a big fan of the free-lance photographer. i collect them! ;) we have a list & depending on what kind of photos i'm looking to get (more formal or more candid/casual) that's who i call. it's usually a bit pricier than a studio but so so worth it, IMO.

    funny story - i won a sitting with a local photographer last Christmas & knowing that my sister really wanted some professional photos of her little guy but that she wouldn't be able to afford them i offered her the session. their photos turned out great! when i asked what her DH thought of them, all he said was that next time he wanted to go to a real professional at a studio & get photos taken. :rolleyes: men.

    Beautiful photos Judy! :wub: I do like using a private photographer better then the studios, we weren't able to book the photographer we like this year due to our finances and us not being able to get together in time.

    Great photos! Add me to the list of a professional photographer in the home. I take the boys to one in town. She does it as a side job-and she's ridiculously busy! We go to her house, or on location. I love it. I did to Sears last Easter-and it was a TWO HOUR session. One person working-she had to answer the phone, ring up customers, it was crazy. We got a few good shots of the boys, but it was much more relaxing at the photographers house! Never again! LOL!
