photobucket pictures

I thought I figured out how to post pics. from photobucket but they are embedded pics. What am I doing wrong? I really want to add pics. I even bought the membership thinking that would help. I think think this may be my true defining blonde moment! Help! Thanks for anyone willing to guide me through this mess.

 

I will be watching this post. BTW, I have really dark brown hair so it has nothing to do with being blonde! I always say I am a dunce when it comes to computers. lol

 

If you are trying to put a picture in your avatar (to the left, below your name) save the picture from Photbucket onto your computer and then go into MyControls (top almost right of this page), then Edit Avatar Settings (right hand side, more than half way down), then Upload new image from your Computer, Browse... (find picture on your computer), then Update Avatar. Once you see the picture there, it should be all set. If you come back into the forums and it's not there, hit F5 to refresh your screen. HTH!!

If you are looking to put a picture in your signature, you need to create a ticker with the photo attached to that. TS does not allow embedded photos in signatures.

Great job!!! Adorable pix! Oh and if you are trying to post pix in your text, you can go into photobucket, highlight and copy the "Direct link" under the picture you want to show us, and then paste it into the text box here, like this: http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc66/llitcher/AMSmall.jpg

If you want to get fancy and have the link say a word instead of the long link, you can use the little green arrow at the top of the text box, paste the link into the box that pops up, and then name it: Example
