Period? Already?

I had my babies a little over 5 weeks ago. The past couple of weeks I've barely been spotting and the bleeding actually stopped for a couple of days. Today I am having a flow like a regular period along with mild cramping. Is it too early for my cycle to be starting up again? Oh, I'm EFF. I didn't BF at all.

 

My girls were born October 24 and I was on my period for Xmas that year, so it came back w/in 2 months.

 

I was pumping every 3 and got my period at about 7/8 weeks after the boys were born.

 

I had my babies 4 weeks ago and started my period 2 days ago. I had hoped not to get it for awhile. UGHH! And, I am breastfeeding.

I got my period after about 4 months after I stopped pumping. The strange thing is that my periods don't hurt anymore. Like I used to have pretty bad cramping, but now nothing. Usually I was able to tell that I'll get my period soon, but now I don't have the same symptoms, just the bleeding.

 

I got my period 6 weeks after my girls arrived. I BF for the 1st two weeks then onto formula. It was a heavier pd then what i use to get and it lasted for about 6 days which is longer then what it use to be. Hope this is not how it's going to be from now on.

 

I got mine at 6 weeks and I was still breastfeeding/pumping 3-4 times a day at that point. I wasn't expecting it at all but I guess my body was ready.

 

I think the crazy part of this whole discussion is that some of you would have ovulated like weeks after having your babies. That scares me!!! I couldn't imagine getting pregnant so soon after having a baby. The twins and our most recent are 13.5 months apart, that's close enough for me.

While breastfeeding my period always returned right around 3 months. Whereas my mom wouldn't get her period even if she was breastfeeding only one feeding per day. Not fair in my opinion.
