had my appointments today. the peri told me that i should expect to be extremely tired the remainder of the pregnancy, so no luck with that 2nd trimester energy i hear so much about. she said that my biggest thing is to rest (i'm good at that) and to sleep as much as i can (not so good at that). i will be on a 2 week ultrasound monitoring schedule from now until 26 weeks to monitor fluid levels and every 4 weeks to have an ultrasound to check growth. they will also check cervix length during these visits to make sure everything is in position properly.

both babies are growing PERFECTLY...literally, that's what they said. no cleft palats, no down syndrome, excellent hearts, etc. oh yeah and they have PENISES.......yep i'm growing a couple of perfect BOYS!

my husband is extremely let down because he wanted girls (he was set on naming one alexandria) but we are having boys and one of them will be name river alexander......woo hoo! i'm so happy, i HATE pink and LOVE all the stuff for little boys. dresses and pink frilly things freak me out. although i'm not looking forward to getting peed on when i change diapers!

my parents were over the moon with the news but my MIL was disapointed, she wanted girls.......too bad.

so that's the news. 2 extremely perfectly healthy baby boys on the way!

Congrats on boys!!! And perfect ones at that! I'm glad your Dr.s are monitoring you so well.

P.S. We all get peed on at least once, but it's easy to prevent!

Congrats on two for Team Blue! And don't worry ... I think I've only gotten peed on twice, and my son is about to turn 2!
