    Hi Ladies,
I am experiencing some pelvic pressure. I am 18 weeks so far. I have noticed the past few days, when I have been doing more like taking daughter to park, laundry, cleaning, dishes, grocery store, my lower abdomen just starts to ACHE. I honestly didn't think I was doing too much, since I spread out these tasks throughout the whole day, but today the pelvic pressure is pretty strong. Am I doing too much? Or is this a normal "uterine stretch" due to growing twins?? Thanks!

possibly just stretching but i started getting Bh around 16-17wks because i was measuring about 10-11wks bigger than what I was. So could be Bh and if so take it easy from time to time dont try to do so much in one day space it out, little stuff that we do on norm basis seemed like a lot of work when i was 18wks. if there is tightness in the belly when the aching is occuring probably bh, if just pressure and pain in lower abs then prob growing pains and those twins of your are making more room ;o) i had a growing spurt about every wk to wk and hlf with my boys

I've had the same symptoms around 18 weeks. My doctor said, it's due to babies growth, your uterus is stretching. She told me, if its a constant pressure, feeling of heaviness in that area than don't worry, it comes and goes like contractions, than it could be smth else. She recommended a maternity belt, which I have now and use all the time. It is much easier to walk to playground, store, etc with its support. If you worry, call your doctor, it never hearts to ask.

I started feeling the same way as you describe around 19-20 weeks - the constant pelvic pressure that gets worse with regular daily activity. After seeing my OB at 24 wks and being reassured that this is part of the joy of a twin pregnancy, I finally purchased a maternity support belt this weekend and feel soooooo much better. I wish I hadn't waited as long as I did to buy one as it helps my growing belly (and my attitude!) tremendously.

Get a maternity belt. You may be having these pains because you are out and about. Your belly is bouncing while you are walking and that puts pressure on your back and lower abdomen. The belt will help support your belly and it helps over all. I love mine, I got it at Motherhood Maternity.

    Good luck,
    Jenn

I started feeling the "pressure" at about 20 weeks. I'll have some good days, where I totally forget about it and then it will be back. I think it's because of where the babies are resting as well. DO listen to your body and rest when you feel the pressure especially hard.
