OK so technically I won't be joining you ladies for a couple of weeks, but you seemed like the better group to ask.

Right now I have a DuoGlider which I really don't like and tend to leave in the car if at all possible. The main things I don't like are it's heavy, the seats sit at a weird angle which leaves the boys laying down too much or struggling to hold on to the snack tray to sit up more, and the top of the basket is to close to the bottom of the seat that anything with a dimension over 3 or 4 inches is hard to get in it (formula cans even). I like the tandem part and I don't have a big problem steering it.

There is a Peg Perego Twin Aria on craigslist in great condition for $75. It is missing the snack trays though. I'm reading conflicting reviews online and don't know if I should get it or not. If I do replace my DuoGlider it will be with something around this price and if new that won't get me much. We will mostly use for in and out of stores like target, in and out of dr offices, trips to the neighborhood park.

So, any opinions? Steering, length of use (boys are already 23ish lbs), ease of buckles, seat back adjustments, missing snack trays a big issue?

Thanks and I'll be seeing you soon...

In my opinion, no. That was the main stroller I used when my twins were that age and I absolutely hated it. The wheels were impossible to maneuver during turns. The stroller fit through doorways but I would always get stuck anyhow because getting the wheels to turn in the right direction required a skill that I apparantly did not possess. Not to mention on walks the stroller could barely go over the slightest bump. The parent cup holder never could stay upright with a water bottle inside. The best thing about the stroller was the snack trays (which does not include a cup holder by the way) so without one there is nothing good I can say about it. The heavier the twins got the worse it got. I definitley recommend a side by side but not that one. If you could get a good deal on a maclaren or even a combi side by side it would be more worthy of your $75 bucks.

I did a similar thing to what you are wanting to do. I had the same feelings about the Duoglider and found a Combi Twin Savvy for $100 on craigslist. She said it was in perfect condition. Well, I really loved having the compact, lightweight, SBS stroller...much easier for traveling, etc. But, it turns out it wasn't in such great condition. It hasn't held up well at all and we didn't use it often. If it's truly in good condition, I think you will like it. The snack trays are great when they are little, but once they get older, you won't need them as much and they will be able to climb in and out on their own. Can you look into buying the replacement trays?

I could not find anywhere to buy replacement snack trays. Peg perego evidently doesn't sell them for the Aria

If the prior owner did not keep it clean and oiled (which I was not told about oiling and w/two infants was the farthest from my mind) you will have issues with the wheels or at least this is my experience and what I was later told. I loved it when they were little and it was new but as they got heavier it was more difficult. Also, because it is not a metal frame it is not as sturdy for heavier little ones. I would look for a combi or I think maclaren or there is an eddie bauer/fisher price tandem unbrella type that I loved inside of stores and such. But, I needed the snack trays on the aria.

Ditto!!! I absolutely hate mine. My lock that held the snack trays down broke too. It is light and easy to fold up but the steering is horrible and the thing is falling apart. The front wheels are locking up on it too. The sun shade is pointless, the recline is very tight on ours so it is hard to do. The 5 point harness comes off of the back of the seat so that they can still grab and pull st each other. I really dislike mine.

No! My boys outgrew this stroller at 18 months old. It's all plastic, which makes it wonderfully light but not very durable. I couldn't even push it once my boys hit 30 lbs each. The storage is awful. The snack tray are the best thing about this stroller (and the weight). Look for a MacLaren Twin Techno instead.

Thank ladies - I'm going to pass on the stroller. I appreciate the advice.
