We had our 'peek at preschool' yesterday where we went to the school & met the teachers. One of them is actually a mom of twin girls. I believe that my twins are the only twins in the class. There are 14 kids total in their Tuesday/Thursday class. It goes from 9:15 - 11:30. I had Evan with so it was very difficult to juggle all three while going around and learning about the classroom. We signed up to make playdough and made it yesterday. The kids helped add the ingredients and at the end, helped knead it. WE made grape...err.r... purple playdough. They gave us the recipe so if you want it, let me know. It really turned out great (with a nice scent!)!!
That night we had a meet the school bus. The twins will be riding the bus. The school is about 13 miles away from us but to drive it is about 20 minutes. So, the bus is the best option for us, and it is free!!! The twins did great on the little bus ride we went on. The bus they get to ride on every day will have boosters for them to sit in. (whew!) I hope the ride isn't too long. The first week is going to be so exciting!

    DO post the recipe!

I posted it in PC when someone asked for one but here it is again!

    Kool-Aid Playdoh

    Mix:
    2 1/2 Cups flour
    1/2 Cup Salt
    2 pkgs unsweetened Kool-Aid

    Add 2 Cups Boiling Water
    2 Tbsp oil (not peanut)

Add the wet ingredients to the mixed dry ingredients & blend together. When it becomes more like playdoh, take it out and knead it on a hard surface. It will become less sticky as it cools off.

The best part of this is it smells so good! The salt should keep it from being eaten too!
