Hi ladies. I decided to post this in 1-5 instead of first year since you guys have more walkers. I am looking to buy the twins' first shoes. They have been barefoot all summer but will need shoes for fall. They are both newly walking. My older kids all wore Stride Rites & I may go with the same for the twins, but today I was looking at Pedoodles. The soles are so flexible & they look so comfortable. I was wondering if any of you have any experience with them?
Mine have worn pedoodles since they were walking and I was really sad when ds outgrew their largest size. I just ordered the two new styles for my dd for the fall. The shoes are very flexible and since they change the design and removed the stitching I haven't had any quality issues with them.
I don't have any experience with Pedoodles, but my kids have Pedipeds. From your description, they sound like they could be the same? I LOVE my kids Pedipeds and would definitely recommend them. I went with the stiff walkers from Stride Rite with my oldest. At the time there were no flexible shoes. My pediatrician has always recommended bare foot is best with new walkers, and the Pedipeds are a really good option for shoes for outside if that's your philosophy too.
Thanks guys. The pedipeds are similar, I looked at them & really liked them but the pedoodles have rubber soles so they are a bit better for outside (it rains here, A LOT). jwozy - have you tried the Mary Jane style for your daughter? I really like them but have had mary jane's in the past (different brands) that the velcro strap wouldn't stay fastened so it was a real pain. Any experience with them from pedoodles?
I haven't bought any Pedoodles, but I have bought the girls two pair of Preschoolians, which I think are similar. They also have a 40% discount for multiples if you buy two pair at a time. LOVE pedoodles. Preferred them over pedipeds and preschoolians. They were super flexible, really comfy and good for wider feet. I loved the rubber sole. My girls also loved these shoes and we got tons of compliments on them. Highly suggest them!!
My dd is on her second pair of ruby janes ones right now and they seem to stay on just fine, never had any trouble with the velcro and she's 3 and very actively running in them. I'm getting her the sweet lady janes for this fall. Her first pedoodles were the flower power and princess and last summer both kids wore their sandals and the runners. I actually loved their shoes so much that when their boots came out I bought a pair for dd and ds. Though really cute, what was I thinking? We are in southern california and there is really no need for boots :blush:
