PBK Anywhere Chair

I was thinking of getting my kids the anywhere chair for their first birthday. I see on their website they have a "My First Anywhere Chair" that is smaller than the regular "Anywhere Chair". I would hate to get the smaller one and have it outgrown quickly...but is the bigger one too big for one year olds? I can't see them in person, so I would love to get your feedback if you have them.

 

My personal opionion would be to skip the first anywhere chair and get the regular one. :good: We have the regular one and the kids got it for Christmas {18 months} and the chair definately would have been great at one too {I just didn't see it then} My friends son has the first anywhere chair and it's really small in comparison to ours, and I do think the prices are either the same or a bit lower for the first one. Either way, I think this chair is great and my kids love it!

 

We're planning on getting the Anywhere Chairs for Christmas this year. While we don't have them yet, I have seen them in person and I think they would definitely be good for 1-year-olds.

 

Go for the regular sized ones. Our twins were given the smaller ones for their second birthday as a gift, and they fit into them just right - they will not fit into them in a year or two I would guess.

 

We have the regular sized ones and LOVE them. We got them at 15 months!

 

We bought them for our niece and our DD and DS for their 1st birthdays. The size was fine. It may be a little big, but they grow into it quickly. They love to climb into it and sit and "read."

 

We got the regular ones when they were a little over one year old and they still use them everyday. Great buy!

I wanted to get them the little chairs because I thought the bigger ones were too big. They aren't. Get the bigger ones. It's like a couple of inches higher. Mine had NO problem getting into the big ones. We got them...gosh I can't remember now...they were about 18 months old.

 

We got the oversized anywhere chairs from PBK for their second bday. They are great and the boys should be able to use them for a long time to come... My friend had the regular size and her boy was already getting too big for it by his 3rd birthday. Now that the boys are 3 (just last Monday!) I am so glad I went for the oversized as my guys are in the 95% plus for height.... The chairs are great and we went with the denim and they wash up wonderfully!

 

we got them for the girls right after their first birthdays and they love them. they were getting in and out of them no problem after about a week or learning time.. don't waste money on the small ones!

 

Mine got theirs at their 2nd birthday, but I think getting them at age 1 is totally fine.

 

Definitely get the regular ones. My ticker shows our boys in theirs at just over age one. They got them for their 1st birthday also, and they were climbing into them themselves pretty soon after. They're definitely not too big, but they still have plenty of room to grow also. We're very happy that we chose them for the 'big' 1st birthday gift!

ETA: On the "room to grow" issue (since someone mentioned needing the oversized chairs), I really expect these to last for several years, until they're into just regular grown up furniture. I can actually sit in their regular sized chairs--they are just separate foam pieces held together by a slipcover, so they are flexible and can expand to fit your expanding kids! (For some reason, both grandpas thought it would be fun to sit in the boys' chairs at their party, and sure enough, they fit too.)

My GF went in halfs with me on the PBK Oversized anywhere chairs and the twins LOVE them! They were a huge hit and i know they will use them for many years. This was what we got them for their first birthday. It was pricey but to me worth it. We really love them... They have plenty of room to grow with them. The oversized is not that much more... We got red and denim and they wash up nicely... I love the green color too.

 

Nadia got the regular sized one for her first birthday....she STILL uses it, at age 4.

I'll probably get them for my little ones for Christmas this year, at 18 months.

Skip the smaller ones!

Mine got the "normal size at about 18months and instantly loved them. They have their names on them and get very mad if someone is in their chair. Only thing bad is that the monograming is coming undone because I have had to wash them alot.
