pbk anywhere chair

Who all has this, and do you recommend it? I think a couple people mentioned it in the holiday gift idea sticky, but I wanted more info about it. Specifically if you've had it for older kiddos, how long did they use it? I don't want to shell out $100 to find out they think it's cute and fun for a month. We're thinking about it for their 1st birthday...does that seem an appropriate age? Finally, would you recommend the "first" chair that is smaller, the regular one, or the oversized one? We're leaning toward the regular one as it seems like they'll grow out of the first one really quickly. Thanks for any help!

 

Mine got them for Christmas after they turned a year old (so around 15 months) and they LOVE them still at 3 years old. They drag them over anytime they want to watch TV. They are pretty big - just an FYI.

 

My older DD got the regular sized one for her first birthday, and liked it -- but she didn't really start using it until 18 months or even age 2 (she didn't sit still long enough before then, LOL). But now, she still uses it at almost 4, sits in it to drink her milk, read, etc.

And, she also turns it over and jumps on it, and it has held up -- it was a decent purchase! I'll be getting them for my little ones, too, at some point.

 

We have the First Anywhere Chair. We don't have a lot of space for the bigger ones. The girls LOVE theirs!! The drag them around. flip them over, and amzingly do sit in them!!

My niece still plays/sits in her little chair and she will be 4 in January.

 

We got my oldest one (regular size, don't get the "first", they'll outgrow them pretty fast and the price difference is minimal unless you have a major space issue) and she still uses it at age 3 1/2. I bought 2 for the twins, but haven't used it yet (shipping them back home). I bought the inserts at eBay (way cheaper than PBK, not the originals but same size, but different material).
