pampers versus huggies?

My girls just turned 9 months old I switched them from a generic diaper around 7 months because huggies was more absorbent, but now that both of the girls are on the move on of them has leaks all the time and not a full diaper within an hour of changing. Anyone else with this problem. Did switching brands help? Does anyone use Pampers and like them?

 

Have always used and been happy with Pampers.

 

I HATE Pampers, but LOVE Huggies.
Pampers never seem to fit correctly, and often leak.
I never have that problem with Huggies.

I love Pampers Baby Dry. We used to do Cruisers, but I like these better. Never been a fan of huggies. If you want to save a little dough, I think Luvs are pretty good too.

 

We used every kind throughout the first year. We started with Huggies and then went to Pampers. We're now using Luvs and Pampers. Basically whatever I can get a better deal on. Try Luvs and see how that goes too. They are much cheaper. I agree with jasonsmommy, Pampers Baby Dry worked just as good and is cheaper.

 

Thanks I think I will go buy a small package of Pampers and see how they do. I would try Luvs, but pretty sure we don't have them here.

 

You could try a different kind of generic too. I've tried several and some don't work for mine, but I still mostly use generics for them.

 

I love Pampers.

We used up a huge package of Huggies someone gave us, and in the process ruined more baby clothes in short time than we ever have. I hate Huggies diapers. Their wipes are better than Pampers though.

 

Pampers were great for moving, but we actually switched to Huggies because they were the only diapers that didn't cause my girls to wake up soaking wet.

 

I used Huggies until we switched to Sam's CLub generic which I used until they were potty trained.

 

we love pampers. I've tried them all - even the Costco version...and we decided to stick with Pampers only.

 

We're a pampers family. We've tried them all- walmarts brand, target brand, huggies, luvs, all of them and pampers are the only ones that our boys wake up dry in...

 

We use pampers baby dry at home and for nights and have been happy with them. We use the BJs generic for daycare because they change them so often it's too expensive otherwise.

 

Looks like Pampers are a favorite here, but we prefer Huggies.
The NICU used Huggies, so that’s what we started with at home, we tried Pampers… but after a few diaper changes we switched back to Huggies. The Pampers didn’t quite fit correctly and they leaked, whereas we have had no problems at all with the Huggies (well, excepting the time that the boys grandma put a diaper on one of the boys really loose…)

 

at first i really liked pampers but now i prefer huggies. they send more coupons too!! we use luvs some too during the day. they seem to leak at night.

 

I am a big fan of the Pampers Cruisers. I use the Huggies Overnites at night as well.

 

We were pampers users until we found LUVS. We did use the target brand for a while but DS had a skin reaction to them. Huggies just leaked constantly for us.

 

Huggies here. Luvs and Pampers give the babies diaper rashes.

 

Huggies supreme are the best for our house. The hospital started them with pampers swaddlers but both boys had horrible diaper rash. no matter how often I changed them and they had little places on their bottoms that matched the indentions from the weave. I had same problem with DD and started her on huggies supreme. So I made the switch to huggies supreme with the boys, their diaper rash cleared up. and we haven't had a problem since. I will never ever use anything else. I also prefer their wipes.
