When your babies outgrew size 1 Pampers, did you move to size 1-2 or to size 2? What is the purpose of size 1-2?

The between size ones are a wider range of sizes. I just moved up a size, it really doesn't make that big of a difference. In my opinion, the Pampers run smaller than their sizes state. These guys are only 23 lbs and I'm about to go into size 5's.. according to the label- they could still wear 3's. There is NO WAY that could happen they are busting out of the 4's!

Those 1/2 size ones are weird.

I think we may have bought one box of size 1-2, and then went right to soze 2. I agree with PP -- the sizes definitely run smaller than the recommended weights on the box. We are comfortably in size 4 at 20-21 pounds.

My girls wear a size 4 and they are only 20lbs. I don't think mine ever used a 1-2

I agree! I skipped the 1-2 and just went into size 2. It just seemed easier and a better fit for my girls.

Now, Madelyn is 19lbs and she wears size 4 and Katelyn is 23 lbs and is wearing size 5 - that's definitely not the size the package states they should be on.

Ditto the pp's, we just went right to size 2. Now at 21 pounds my DS wears a size 4 and at 18 DD wears a size 3, alot of it has to do with length though, DS has a really long torso and the 3's just weren't cuttint it.

A few weeks ago, we transitioned from the Size 1 to Size 2. I wondered about the Size 1-2 so I'm glad you asked!

We did do the size 1-2, mainly because I have really long thin girls and length wise, they were out of the 1's and too skinny for the 2's!

I want size 1-2s, but cannot find them at any store. I want them because Maya is about 10 lbs right now, and she has a small frame so the size of 1s fit, but she is almost leaking through them. Since I can't find 1-2s I will just stay with 1s. Sofia is in 2s already.

Try diapers.com they have all the sizes and the shipping is free if you spend more than 50 bucks, which we all know is not hard to do. It's the only place I can find size 3 overnight diapers for DD, they only sell them in size 4 and 5 in the stores around here. The shipping is fast too, i usually get my orders in about 3=4 days.

I didn't find much difference in size between 1's and the 1-2's, so we went right to 2's.

I always thought it was a gimmick for the wholesale clubs...

[SIZE=10pt]Our local Targets have them right now. They're in a bigger quantity box ~ I think it's 192 diapers for $27.99.

DD wore them for a lil while ~ she's a peanut though.

We never used 1-2. Just went to 2 because 1-2 doesn't really cover that much higher of a weight range.

Thanks :) I do use diapers.com, but was hoping to find a smaller package in case I didn't like them. But I don't think I will be able to!

We didn't use the 1-2's we just went straight to the 2's. We are using the 2-3's in the swaddlers though. This is just because they it will let us stay in swaddlers a little longer. I'm going to miss the swaddlers :(

The 1-2 says up to 15lbs and mine are 12lbs and 13lbs and these are a bit snug and dont work at all at night. Pampers do run small I have noticed. I use cloth for the most part but have a lot of pampers I recieved as gifts so I use them at night and take to daycare.

We have Sam's Club and they sell 1-2's in bulk, not sure if that helps...

Our girls are still in a size 1, however we do use the size 1-2 at night. They are slightly bigger and have seemed to keep our leaking problem under control now that the girls are sleeping through the night. Emma is a belly sleeper and she would wake up soaking wet every morning when we were using the size 1's. I don't really think they are that much bigger but they seem to go a little further up on her belly. HTH
