Painting fingernails and toenails

I waas just thinking today how I can't wait until me and my DD get to paint our nails together. This is my first DD so I have no idea what age is okay to paint her nails. I know right now she puts her hands in her mouth all the time and would probably eat the polish.

 

I think three is a good age... only by then will she be less likely to chew on her hands! Get your toe nails done at 2 - that is unless she chews those too!

 

Um, since birth! LOL! With an exception of the "I put everything in my mouth" stage. My last DD left the hospital with her toes nails painted pink! LOL!!

 

I do my girls toes - it's so cute!!!

 

I started doing Meghan's toes last summer (and I did clear on Nolie's.....he just didn't understand why he couldn't do it, too). They were 2 1/2 (I haven't done her fingers yet).

Cool. I might just paint her toenails then. What fun what fun. I just love little girlies. They are so much fun to dress up and make pretty.

 

Do you think my DH would freak out if I did my DD toes now? lol

 

I was just thinking about the same thing recently when I was in having my nails done. I think next spring/summer I will bring the girls with me to get their nails painted. :wub:

 

my daughter is 3 weeks and i did hers tonight. hehehehe it is soooo cute. lol
