Pains

Hi there im Niki im new to this and was wondering if anybody could help me out. Im not sure if this goes here but im really really worried. I am about 13/14 weeks pregnant with twins and for the last 2 nights i have been suffering from really bad stomach cramps, feel lke period pains. Has anyone else suffered from this? I dont want to go to the hospital as they will just tell me to go home and rest. I got a scan a week tomorrow but i cant wait that long worrying like this, i would be grateful of anybody answering me if you have had the same experience, Thanks ever so much Niki xxxx

I would definitely call your Dr's office. I was having menstrual like cramps at about 26 weeks, didn't think much of it, just thought it was ligaments stretching. Come to find out my cervix was starting to funnel and shorten. I went on bed rest immediately because it was too late to get a cerclage. I'm now at 31 weeks have been taken off of strict bed rest and doing well. So don't ever be afraid to call and ask, if your DR's office is close, call L & D.

Please do not ever hesitate to call your doctor and ask questions. Menstral like cramps can mean several different things. It is always better to be safe then sorry. Please keep us updated and take care!

 

Hi there, thanx for ur replies i have a scan tomorrow so fingers crossed everything is ok. Im so nervous im really scared that theres something wrong. Im being stupid i kno but i cant help it. x x

 

[Just to let you know that i have been for a scan and everythings fine. Twin 1 is laid a bit higher than twin 2 which is laying in an awkward place which is causing these pains. Nothing serious though. x x
