Painless contractions, question

Today after work I had pain less contractions, they lasted soooo long, I just went to bed woke up 2 hours later and they were gone, is this normal at 18 weeks?

 

hmmm......I have a tightening which could be described as painless contractions sometimes when I've had an extra long day or overdone myself....later, I expect the braxton hicks contractions, but not till after 28 weeks I hope........
I do have a lot of twangs in the stomach and groin areas--the stretching of all the different muscles--again, normal, although sometimes almost debilitating.
I'd say if you aren't sure, call your OB!

 

It may because you over did it. Your bodies way of telling you to rest. Glad you are feeling better.

I met with my doctor and she checked me and said my cervix was fully closed and long so it was probaby my body reacting to a hard day, that I need to take it easy and put my feet up and try not to stress. Easy when you have a three year old. He is going to be in daycare next week and I finish work at 3 so I will have a few hours to myself until he and my hubby get home.
