Painful gas?

The past week or so I have had really painful gas. Last night I couldn't get to sleep for a long time because of it. With all my pregnancies I've been real gassy, but I've never had painful gas like this.

Is it normal or should I call my OB?

this is my 1st pregnancy but ive had so much gas this pregnancy. mine gets to the point where it makes me double over because it hurts so bad, sometimes i cant even lay down because the gas is so much. i take tums, and drink half of a non-colored soda(because i dont drink much soda) then it allows me to relieve my gas alittle easier and doesnt hurt so bad. i hope this helps ;-)

 

I had BAD gas pains for the first trimester with this baby. None like it with the twin pregnancy. Keep some gas-x on hand and see if some regular foods might make it worse. I wish I had more advice...I spent many a night doubled over with pain from gas

 

I have had it with both pregnancies. Its getting better but I still have days where it hurts so bad. I am with Becky, keep the gas x on hand it usually helps me out a little bit.

 

When I was pregnant with dd#1 my gas was so painful in the 1st trimester that I thought I was miscarrying. It HURT!!!!! But it was "just gas".
