pain question

Hey y'all! I know I've been non existent lately, life has been busy!

Anyway i have 2 questions for y'all.

1. Has anyone experienced pain/cramping of the muscles at the top of abdomen right below your breasts? I've been having this pain for a few weeks now, talked to my ob about it, he said it was reflux pain, however I take nexium daily and ice tried taking gaviscon when I get the pain and it doesn't help. It usually comes when im laying on my side or if I'm sitting forward, almost like something is being compressed.

2. Has anyone had tailbone pain, if so what did you do about it? My tailbone constantly hurts but when I sit it really hurts.

Any advice would be appreciated!

 

I am sorry I can't remember how far along you are, so maybe you are not large enough for this to be relevant yet: but I has similar pains to what you describe in my upper abdomen. My OB told me that this was the result of the organs being squeezed into an ever smaller space by the growth of the babies and pressing against the diaphragm. He told me there was nothing to do about this, just part of a twin pregnancy. What helped me a bit was to graze or have several very small meals and to continuously sip drinks instead of having full meals and a large glass of water/milk etc. to drink in one go; the pain seemed to get worse when the stomach was full. GL!

 

I agree with pp, about all the organs being compressed once you are far enough along...and obviously it happens a bit sooner with twins.
I did however on occassion get what felt like a charley horse (muscle cramp) in the spot you are talking about, it hurt so bad!! but fortunately it didnt last long and I just had to stand up tall to stretch it out.
As for your tail bone, I would try to do some pelvic tilts to relieve some of the pressure on it and also ice it when you can.
