i noticed this weekend that i'm having soreness in the area of my c-section incision. has anyone else experienced this in the months following surgery? it seems odd because it hasn't bothered me before, but suddenly this weekend i started having some pain. if it was adhesion, shouldn't i have felt it before now? i was wondering if it could be exertion because my physical activity picked up significantly last week.

just trying to get a feel for how normal it is to have soreness 4 months after a c-section. i don't think it's serious enough to call the doctor unless it's really an unusual thing.

With my first c-section, I had that kind of soreness for several months post partum especially once I started exercising more. With my most recent c-section, I haven't had it as much.....but I haven't started exercising yet :)

A c-section is major surgery. Everyone heals at different rates. So, I think it is fairly common.

It could possibly be bc of you increased activity level. Mine is still sensitive to touch and clothing. It sometimes pulls or tugs when I'm stretching. After I workout or run, it kinda feels, well, I wouldn't say it hurts, but I'm just more aware of it.

My incision area is still tender to the touch and my boys are 5 months. If you're really worried, it doesn't hurt to call your doc, but I bet you're just fine. It can take a long time to heal. :)

I am 7 months post partum and would say just in the last month it started feeling better, so yep, probably normal!

Mine is still pretty sensitive. My girls like to 'dance' on my stomach when I am holding them and if they step on the incision....OUCH!

Mine too...just sensitive if something puts a little bit of pressure on it.

2 years out, my scar and the area around it still feels funny. Sometimes almost a painful sensation, but more sensitive, like the nerves are still pissed.

10 months after my c-section.. I'd have to agree with the 'feels funny' aspect. I still get nervous once in a blue moon when my DH tickles me - I feel like it's going to split open or something. Of course, not litterally.. I hope

mine still bothers me too. sometimes its itchy, sometimes i get those electric jolts (nerve endings trying to reconnect), sometimes it feels like its pulling. such fun :)

Yup! Got the pain, too, and am nearly 4 months pp. I've been told it can take up to about a year. It still is improving, though, so I guess we all just have to wait it out.
