    Hey everyone,
Well, I had 2 very healthy twins via C-section on Saturday, Dec. 15. I know that it takes a while for the soreness to go away and I just had my staples removed today. But, is it common for me to have pain in my vaginal area? It's sore when I urinate and when I sit down or stand up. When I went to have my staples removed, I gave a urine sample and it was clean for a bladder infection. I also didn't have a bowel movement until last night so I don't know if that could have something to do with it. I just don't want to have any sort of infection. Please let me know if any of you have experienced this.
    Thanks.

I had a c-section 2 weeks ago and noticed that there was pain when I urinated too. It's mostly gone away now. I didn't have pains (in my vagina, anyway) when I was standing or sitting though. I would call and ask your doctor about it.

That didn't happen to me, but I think a call to your OB is necessary.

Could it be from the catheter maybe?? I honestly don't remember having any pain when I urinated, I just remember my bladder exploding (literally) and I had a horrible accident all over the bed, from the catheter....

I did get a really bad staph infection at my incision point that almost required re-admittance and re-opening the wound, but there was no vaginal pain associated with it. I'd ask the OB though just to be sure.

I would consult your ob. I don't remember any vaginal pain from my c-section.

I think that I had that pain from the catheter. I would call the ob just to be sure. Congratulations!
