I'm planning on just having one crib and one pack and play and have both of them share the bassinet. I've talked to the guys at baby depot and they said the sturdiest pack and play they have or would reccomend would be the chicco's so this one http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2983691, i'm wondering if this will work to put two in until they can roll over you know, when you know its time to take them out of a bassient.

Or if i should just go ahead and get the graco twins one ? http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2400926

    anyone thoughts idea opinions?

    Ours looks like this:

except it has a fish design.

I put my son in it to sleep at night next to my bed until he was about 3-1/2 months old. I was planning on doing the same thing with the twins. It really came in handy when we traveled - a daytime outing with a big blanket over the top to keep the sun off him, a trip to the beach. After he learned how to crawl out of it, I started using it to store his toys. :)

That twin one is really neat, though. I didn't know they made one like that.

This is the one I had and it worked great.

The boys could both sleep in the bassinet part, which they did for the couple of months, and then we moved them to their cribs but then they still took naps in the bassinet part until about 3 months old, and then napped in the bottom part after that. The only issue would be the weight limit on the bassinet part, but like I said, mine were 3 months old before we reached the weight limit. Took it on vacation when the boys were just over 6 months, and they slept in it great too...I loved my pnp. The twin one is nice but not sure if you "need" it. Perhaps someone who had it will respond.

when we traveled (when they were tiny) they always shared the pack n play. It was never a problem. Now they each have their own.

I have the twin pac n play from Graco, so I'm curious too how that will work. So I don't have an answer
for you YET :)... we haven't even put it together yet. I'm almost 31 weeks, I'm wondering myself when I should
start putting everything together. WELL, that will actually be my husband and parents.... because I'm on bed rest.

We have this one too. The boys LOVED being able to touch each other while sleeping so I wouldn't get the "twin" version. My mom bought us an extra mattress for inside the bassinet and it was a lot more sturdy. The weight limit is 15lbs, but we went up to 20. My favorite part of this is the diaper changing part. Ours is downstairs and is great for naptime and changing time. I wouldn't want any other one.

FWIW: The bru guy told my mom that there was no weight limit on the bassinet, so check it out for yourself!

We also used this one. I kept them in the bassinett till they were 3 months and WAY over the weight limit and it still worked great. I didn't realise till I put it together that the changing table folded up and out of the way. It was a life saver for middle of the night changings. I think the 'twin' one is a bit over the top and not nessary, but it is cute!

A friend of mine bought the twin Graco and hated it. The bassinets kept drooping in the mdidle so one twin would roll right and the other would roll left and be smashed up against the side.
We had 1 crib in our room for the first 5 weeks. Then they moved to their room in 1 crib and I separated them at 8 weeks.
We travel with 2 pack n'plays since DS is a thrasher in his sleep. We have 1 Graco and 1 Baby Trend.

A lot of people in my twins club said the twins one was not very good. We bought the regular $60 pack n' plays at wal-mart and they have been wonderful. They shared one in our room in the beginning and we had one in the living room during the day for naps. Now we use them for travelling to Grandmas and such.

I love them and the best part is they were cheap!

I have the twins one and I HATE it! We did not use the bassinets once they got past like 6 pounds because they would roll to the middle and now that they are rolling around in it, they can't sleep in it together. I had a smaller Graco one and my mom gave me her other one to use as we are going on a trip together. Don't get the twin one. It isn't worth the extra money. If I had to do it again, I would just get two.

I have a regular Graco one and love it. I purposely didn't want the twins one because I didn't want them separated. I'm glad I did because they loved to be cuddled up together.
