Our boys will be two this month and are still in pack and plays. Their cribs were recalled and we were moving so we just went with the pnp. We are in no hurry to move to toddler beds. They are small for their age.

What is the longest you had yours sleep exclusively in a pack and play?
    Thanks!

Mine never slept in a pack & play, but I would say if they are happy in there & not exceeding the weight limit then there is no reason why they can't keep sleeping in there!

I was going to say the same thing. I think the weight limit for most pack n plays are about 30lbs. As long as they are happy in there and have not exceeded the weight limit, then why not stay with the PnP's. I bought mine a light mattress to go in to the PnP's when they were staying in there for a bit. I found the boards for my pack n plays were a bit flimsy. I went straight from their cribs to the twin beds. At first I used the side railing in the beds. I had put the mattresses on the floors. I never used toddler beds, but I suppose if they are not ready for big kid beds by the time they outgrow their pack n plays then getting toddler beds would be the next step...when they/you are ready.

I agree with Tina! No need to fix what isn't broken :)

Where did you get a mattress for your PnP?

We used cribs primarily but used our p n' ps for travel (maybe once a month) and one kid "slept" in one when we separated them for naps. We were using ours till we moved our guys to toddler beds, which was when they were almost three. I agree that if they're sleeping ok and are under the weight limit (our issue became more height than weight: they couldn't lie stretched out near the end!) then you're fine.

We used ours for about three months between our move and the availability of their toddler beds.
